Planeteers is an educational intergalactic adventure set in a fictional universe with habitats, flora and fauna that resemble Earth. Learners play as a stranded space explorer charged with collecting vital elements and scientific discoveries, key to regenerating their own planet. Together with their robot companion, Socket, they must build a sustainable habitat while also exploring and collecting materials and data for their trip home.  The game is a highly educational sandbox game, disguised as a video game. Part Minecraft, part Tynker, Planeteers has hundreds of educational quests mapped to a comprehensive and progressive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) curriculum that aims to teach kids important 21st Century skills in a fun, highly engaging, open world environment.

Aimed for learners from eight to twelve years old, Planeteers includes a parents console so you can track your child’s progress as they earn badges linked to key achievements and learnings in the game. Designed by leading educators, Planeteers  is a great way to get your kids interested in STEAM activites including coding, robotics, visual design, problem solving, maker activities and more!
